Voices of the Participants

Carina Peeters, Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, Belgium

I had the pleasure of attending the Staff Days at TH Rosenheim and I was impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the colleagues over there. The international topics that were discussed and the best practices that were shared will continue to be an inspiration to further strengthen my performance as an international coordinator. The many conversations with the other international guests were all very interesting and informative. I am also proud to report that a new partnership was established thanks to the networking opportunities during this staff week. Colleagues from the International Office of TH Rosenheim: thank you for a wonderful time, I enjoyed every minute.

International Staff Days were excellent combination of workshops, lectures, benchmarking, networking and cultural activities. Staff of TH Rosenheim International Office made us feel welcome by creating such a cosy and friendly atmosphere from the very beginning. Meeting colleagues face-to-face makes it easier to further strengthen and streamline the cooperation between partner universities.

Staff Days at TH Rosenheim have been a valuable opportunity to learn how the other universities manage student exchanges and implement best practices in internationalisation. I was very impressed by the innovative Rosenheim and Chiemgau campus, the combination of technology and design and the focus on sustainability. Furthermore, the natural environment is beautiful. I really enjoyed the local food, customs and the hospitality of people. Thanks to the team at the International Office for building the future with these initiatives. This experience definitely inspired me and made me want to learn more.

In September 2024, I had the pleasure of attending the Staff Days of the International Office of the TH Rosenheim. For three days, the international office welcomed us with great hospitality and offered us many activities. I love the way they work: they have many collaborators, great organisational skills, a lot of imagination, friendliness and know how to create a good atmosphere.

The activities were challenging, intellectually intense, inclusive and also fun. Also, they showed us the different venues of the university and some emblematic and beautiful places in the surroundings. In short, I have learned a lot and had a very rich experience. I will not forget my stay in Rosenheim. Congratulations to the International Office!
