Guest lecturer in Traunstein: students immerse themselves in the business world of Burkina Faso

At Campus Chiemgau in Traunstein, an inspiring week-long visit recently took place with Dr. Moumouni Djibo, Academic Director at the BIT (Burkina Institute of Technology). Dr. Djibo participated in several courses, enriching the academic community with fresh perspectives and experiences.

The highlight of his visit was his presentation on “Business Opportunities in Burkina Faso” and the relevance of mobile business for developing new business models. The lecture provided E-Commerce students with insights into current developments and challenges in West Africa. The audience learned how digital solutions contribute to improving economic and social structures and discovered the innovative approaches being implemented in Burkina Faso to promote technological advancement.

In addition, there was an intensive exchange regarding potential collaboration formats between the study program “E-Commerce” (Bachelor of Arts) at Campus Chiemgau and the BIT. The discussions covered possible joint research projects and the potential for student and faculty exchanges. The study program team looks forward to putting initial ideas into practice.
