Research focus: bioeconomy and wood technology

Research profile

The focus is on the sustainable use of biological resources, in particular wood. Questions around the topic of bio-based materials and the substitution of fossil raw materials are examined. The focus is on the circular bioeconomy with a technical focus on wood pulping, fiber modification and product recycling. With the focus “Bioeconomy and Wood Technology”, the TH Rosenheim is represented on the research map of the German Rectors' Conference.
