About the degree programme
Team player with an interdisciplinary view
Strategy, marketing concepts, investment planning, business law or human resources: Business management processes permeate all areas of a company. Without a system of management, organisation and control, a company would not operate successfully. Value-added management and quality management are also indispensable components of the business administration field. Here, the Business Administration degree programme offers an interdisciplinary and versatile education.
Course content
The optional technical orientation is intended to turn the prospective business economists into real team players who are able to use their core know-how with a holistic view for the company. Business administrators meet this need in companies with in-depth economic know-how and basic technical knowledge. The degree programme is rounded off by numerous interdisciplinary modules. These include languages, project management and methodological competence. Within the framework of a business case study and a practical semester, students put the knowledge and skills they have acquired into practice.
Career Opportunities
Based on solid knowledge of economic and business processes as well as management, graduates benefit from the interdisciplinary view and the possibility of critical questioning, for example:
- In which environment does my company operate?
- How can clear structures, efficient processes and unique resources be used strategically?
- How do I ensure the success of my company?
- Am I able to understand technical/commercial contexts?
Graduates in business administration are sought after across all sectors by the private and public sectors.
public institutions. The path to self-employment is also open to graduates. The career opportunities are correspondingly diverse:
- Controlling
- Finance
- Human resources
- Project management
- Quality management
- Marketing
- Technical Purchasing / Sales
- Product Management
- Key Account Management
