- Research engineer or development engineer in the field of acoustics and/or energy in companies in the construction and energy sector as well as in the public or industrial research sector
Application and admission
The Master's degree programme in Building Physics is aimed at graduates of Bachelor's degree programmes in natural sciences and engineering, in particular in the fields of building physics, energy and building technology and civil engineering.
This diverse spectrum corresponds to the range of tasks involved in the implementation of sustainable construction of buildings and neighbourhoods in all aspects of building physics, construction technology and energy.
Admission requirements
- 10 ECTS from courses in mathematics
- 12 ECTS from courses in physics/building physics
The admission regulations contain further recommendations on specialist knowledge from building physics and building technology, which are expected of a graduate of the Building Physics degree programme in the professional world, but are not part of the degree programme. If you have a lot of extra work to do here, we recommend that you complete a preparatory semester.
Further details can be found in the admission regulations.
