26 international guests attended the Master Summer School of TH Rosenheim in the last week of July. The guests came from partner universities in Italy, Czech Republic and Switzerland. Students from Greece, Brazil and Colombia also travelled to Rosenheim for the programme, where they attended courses together with Master students from the faculties of Wood Technology, Engineering and Management and Engineering. "Studying with fellow students at Rosenheim was a fantastic experience. The collaborative atmosphere allowed us to learn from each other's perspectives." More than 15 nationalities have been represented in the classes.
Classes and activities to look forward to
Under the guiding question "What do engineers need for the challenges ahead?", the students chose course programmes in the areas of AI, Circular Economy and additive manufacturing. More than 50 students from different disciplines exchanged ideas intensively and developed new ideas in workshops. Company visits to B/S/H in Traunreut and Baufritz in Erkheim rounded off the week with a look into practice. "The company visit was really interesting and it gave me a new perspective on how a company can be run in a more sustainable way."
The International Office looked after the students before and during their stay in Germany. The guests explored the city of Rosenheim, relaxed at Lake Simssee and visited the Deutsches Museum and BMW Welt in Munich. "I had a fantastic time in Bavaria! Explored breathtaking landscapes, experienced warm Bavarian culture, and made amazing friends!"
