Markus Zacek started his professional career with an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer and subsequent mechanical engineering studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. He then worked as a development engineer at BASF in Munich (they produced video cassettes, which almost no one knows anymore) and for many years at Kathrein in Rosenheim, before finally coming to Rosenheim Technical University. In his free time, he likes to ride his racing bike (built in 1986) or his motorbike (built in 1998), is often on the move in the mountains and enjoys spending time with his family.
