TH Rosenheim is located in the south of Germany, in the state of Bavaria. We have 4 campuses in the charming cities of Rosenheim, Burghausen, Mühldorf am Inn and Traunstein. Each campus is easy to reach by public transport. Local students also take their bike or walk to the campus.
For international arrivals, we recommend travelling via the state capital Munich.

Please be aware that TH Rosenheim does not offer a semester ticket for public transport.
You can use local and regional transport throughout Germany with the Deutschlandticket. For students, there is the Deutschlandticket at a reduced price of €29.00 per month.

From Munich Airport station take the suburban train (S-Bahn line 8 / "S8") to Herrsching train station ("Herrsching") via Munich East station ("München Ost" / "Ostbahnhof"). You find the network maps of Munich here.
Get off at Munich East station ("München Ost" / "Ostbahnhof"). From Munich East station (platform 8) take the regional train (RB or RE) to Kufstein ("Kufstein") or Salzburg ("Salzburg Hbf.") with stop at Rosenheim main station ("Rosenheim").
Get off at Rosenheim main station ("Rosenheim"). From Rosenheim main station (platform 1a) take the regional trains (RB) to Landshut / "Landshut (Bay) Hbf." or “Mühldorf (Oberbay.)” to the train station of TH Rosenheim ("Rosenheim Hochschule").
Get off at train station of TH Rosenheim ("Rosenheim Hochschule"). From the train station of TH Rosenheim, it is just a 5-minutes walk to reach our campus.

Travelling as a group?
Save costs: If you are 2 or more travellers, we recommend the regional day ticket called “Bayern Ticket”. The ticket can be booked and shared by up to 5 persons who travel together in Bavaria. For details, see the website of Deutsche Bahn.
Starting from the main train station of Rosenheim, you reach the city centre (bus station “Stadtmitte” in Heilig-Geist-Strasse) with any bus or a 15 minutes walk.
From there, the local bus line 1 gets you straight from the city centre (bus station “Stadtmitte”) to the campus main building. Get off at at the station “Rosenheim Fachhochschule”. This ride takes about 10 minutes. Find bus time tables here.
For internationl flights, we recommend arriving at Munich Airport (MUC). From the airport, it takes around 2.5 hours to get to Burghausen. From Salzburg Airport (SZG) in Austria it takes around 1 hour to get to Burghausen.
Coming from Munich, you reach Burghausen via Autobahn A94. Coming from Austria, you reach Burghausen via Autobahn A8. Parking lots are available near campus.
