14 Rosenheim Students of the Master's programme 'International Management' impressed with their international and multidisciplinary teamwork in the Croatian capital. Their challenge?
They had to develop a new start-up concept in the Metaverse in their teams by the end of the project week and attract investors. The decision was not easy for the international jury (the potential investors). In the final pitch, the "Roadpro" team led by Rosenheim students David Buenrostro Borbolla and Christoph Heller, which offers virtual support in the form of theoretical and practical driving exercises for young people preparing for their driving test, came out on top. The overall concept was analysed and evaluated in terms of team coherence, problem definition, target market, business model and solution orientation.
Following last year's successful project week at the TH Rosenheim, the second edition in Zagreb was also a complete success. The proven concept of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) financed by the EU continues to inspire the participants: "I still can't believe how much we achieved in just 5 days. It was intense, it was exhausting, but I learnt so much in such a short time: content wise, interdisciplinarily, interculturally and I improved my pitching and critical thinking skills," beams Supriya, the Master's student at TH Rosenheim from India. A total of 35 students from TH Rosenheim, Hogeschool PXL from Hasselt (Belgium) and Algebra University from Zagreb experienced this intensive week filled with collaborative brainstorming, idea refinement and, of course, leisure activities.
"I am incredibly impressed by the commitment and creativity of the students. Their development during the week was truly remarkable and I am very proud of every single participant," concludes Tatjana Erlewein, who accompanied the group to Zagreb.
All those responsible are now looking forward to next year, when the Hogeschool PXL in Belgium will play host.
By the way: The TH Rosenheim offers practical, high-quality degree programmes in business administration and management: For enrolments from the winter semester 2024/25, students on the Bachelor's programme can choose the International Business (IBS) course in the 3rd semester.
