Next-Gen Innovators Use AI to Tackle Tomorrow’s Challenges

At the end of March, TH Rosenheim hosted a one-week Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled "Innovating with AI: From Business Idea to Market Success", welcoming students from PXL University of Applied Sciences in Belgium, and MCAST in Malta. The international and interdisciplinary initiative focused on developing innovative business models using artificial intelligence tools.

In the weeks leading up to the programme, students participated in two online sessions to connect, form teams, and begin working on their ideas. Once in Rosenheim, the week was filled with team-building activities, expert inputs, and hands-on group work – all designed to support the development of their business concepts.

A true highlight of the week was the excursion to Leogang, Austria. With clear skies and stunning alpine views, students hiked to a mountain summit and later took part in a Snow Creature Competition. Creativity was on full display – the winning team built a snowman being walked by a snow-dog on a lead, much to the delight of everyone present.

The final day featured inspiring pitches from all teams. The winning concept came from team Looksy, who presented an AI-driven app that scans a user’s wardrobe and offers personalised outfit suggestions.

The programme not only encouraged digital innovation and entrepreneurial thinking but also fostered international collaboration, creativity, and new friendships. We are proud of all participants and look forward to seeing their ideas evolve beyond the programme!
