Application

The Academic Evaluation Center (APS) verifies the documents of applicants who want to apply for studies in Germany with a Chinese, Vietnamese or Indian school or university degree. 

In order to get an APS, you will have to register online on the APS website in Beijing, Shanghai, Hanoi or New Delhi.

If you want to apply to TH Rosenheim, as an international student applicant - with educational qualifications obtained abroad - you need a valid VPD (preliminary review documentation) from uni-assist. You will need to upload your higher education entrance qualifications/school or university leaving certificates to their application portal. Uni-assist is then going to review your documents if they match the admission requirements for German universities. 

Please make sure to apply for either a Bachelor VPD (for a bachelor's degree programme) or a Master VPD (for a master's degree programme)!

Please  apply for a VPD issued for TH Rosenheim. The VPD will be valid for one year. Application is possible all year, this means you can apply either for a winter semester or a summer semester VPD; both will be valid for a year.
 

1. Register with uni-assist.
2. Upload your higher education entrance qualifications/school or university leaving certificates.
3. Apply to TH Rosenheim with your valid & final VPD.

The database on admission requirements allows international students to check whether they meet the requirements for the degree programme of their choice in Germany.

Extra academic experience in your home country
Applicants from certain countries, particularly non-EU ones, may require some introductory academic experience alongside their higher education entrance qualification. If that applies to you, you will need extra academic experience in your home country (a specific number of semesters depending on the country in which you got your school leaving certificate).

Please note that TH Rosenheim does not issue any conditional admissions or pre-approvals for visas, Studienkollegs, or for learning German, neither for prospective Bachelor nor for prospective Master students.

TH Rosenheim charges no tuition fees for regular study programmes at Bachelor's and Master's level. There is just a Student Union fee of 85 Euro per semester.

• Application to TH Rosenheim for the winter semester: 15 April - 15 June / 15 July (for International Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programmes)
• Application to TH Rosenheim for the summer semester: 1 November - 15 December / 15 January (for International Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programmes)

Preparatory course (“Studienkolleg”) in Germany

If you need further academic experience alongside your secondary school qualifications, you might also attend a preparatory course (“Studienkolleg”) in Germany before applying to TH Rosenheim. Studienkollegs in Germany mainly prepare for German-taught Bachelor's degree programmes. Therefore, German language skills at B2 level are required for the entrance exam at a Studienkolleg.

Information on Studienkollegs in Germany can be found at studienkollegs.de. In Bavaria, the Studienkolleg you would normally attend in order to apply to a university of applied sciences is Studienkolleg Coburg. 

Anyone wanting to study in Germany needs an adequate knowledge of German. International applicants must often complete a language test before enrolling. Learn more about German language tests on the website of the German Academic Exchange Service.
