The focus of the work is in the field of servo drive technology. Servo drives are considered as mechatronic systems. The project work is exclusively model-based.

In the research area of mechatronic systems, there is close cooperation with colleagues working in related fields at the TH Rosenheim, especially in the areas of motion control, model-based development, structural mechanics and computer science.
