Rosenheim Technology Centre for Energy and Buildings - roteg

The Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences has set itself the goal of further intensifying the transfer of ideas, knowledge and technology in cooperation with industry in the coming years. In order to be a competent and high-performance partner for companies, a strategy has been developed that includes the expansion of the university's laboratories. The foundation stone for this was laid by the Rosenheim Technology Centre for Energy and Buildings - roteg, the construction of which already began in July 2016 and could be realised thanks to the generous support of the Seeoner Kreis, the Ministry of Agriculture and a grant of 3 million euros from the Free State of Bavaria. The funds were used to build, equip and expand laboratories and test stands for energy, solar and building technology in the new research centre.
With the existing laboratory units, the roteg is a valuable partner for regional and international companies and is involved in various research projects. On around 800 m², the roteg offers innovative technology and optimal conditions for contract and cooperation projects as well as for teaching. The roteg provides state-of-the-art laboratories that benefit all engineering degree programmes and especially the Energy and Building Technology and Building Physics (Master's degree programme).
